HINDS @ DALLAS SHOW RECAP

Most recently, Gold Hand was given the opportunity to attend Hinds show at
Trees in Dallas on Monday March 20th, and let me tell you, this show was nothing
short of absolute kick-ass girl power. Hinds (formerly Deers) is a four piece girl
band hailing all the way from Madrid, Spain. Hinds are best known for songs such
as Chili Town, Garden, and Bamboo. Hinds are currently touring their new singles
New For You and The Club which will be included on their upcoming album titled
I Don’t Run (out April 6).
I’ve been keeping up with Hinds since 2015 when I first saw them tour with
Glass Animals. My first impression of them was that they were so effortlessly cool,
chugging PBR’s onstage and getting involved with the crowd. Instantly I became a
huge fan, so this tour was something I was totally stoked for.
As the curtains opened and revealed the front stage, bassist Ade Martin, and
Vocalists/ Guitarists Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perrote stand side by side with their
backs to the audience. As soon as the girls turned around, they didn’t slow down
for the rest of their performance. Hinds put on an eccentric and absolutely stunning
show, playing crowd favorites and new songs, all while being their lively cool-girl
selves. I was very much anticipating this show, and Hinds did not disappoint.
Hinds is definitely a band to put on your radar, and you won’t want to miss their
upcoming album, so be sure to stay tuned.
