Jenna Andrews is an exclusive consultant for industry veteran Barry Weiss’ RECORDS label, her partner in their just-announced joint publishing venture Twentyseven Music at Sony/ATV, where she has her own deal as a songwriter, Andrews boasts an impressive creative roster at RECORDS, which includes rising Nashville star Lennon Stella, while continuing to work extensively with both Noah Cyrus and Banks.

Stella’s first solo EP, Love, me, was released by RECORDS/Columbia Records last year, debuting in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. Recently named Radio Disney’s NBT (“Next Big Thing”), Lennon has two songs on the network’s Top 50, with “La Di Da” reaching the Top 5 and “Bad” peaking in the Top 20. Andrews, who has been writing with Stella since the Nashville star was 14 years old, placed her on Jonas Blue’s song “Polaroid” with Liam Payne, a single which cracked the U.K. Top 10 and went to #2 on the iTunes U.K. chart.

Andrews began songwriting at the age of 14 herself, determined to pursue her musical career, dropped out of college after six months before moving to Vancouver where she was discovered by famed manager Chris Smith (Alessia Cara, Nelly Furtado). Smith immediately signed on to represent her and quickly garnered a deal for Jenna with at Island Def Jam.

“I felt myself being pulled in all sorts of directions, and I wasn’t seasoned enough to know which way to go,” says Andrews about her experiences. “Being on the business side feels very natural to me, I’ve always been a hustler. Even in high school, I sold tickets to the local concerts so I could open up for the touring bands coming to town.”

Andrews’ list of songwriting collaborators and creative partners includes Drake, Dua Lipa, Tori Kelly, Jessie J and Jennifer Lopez as well as producers Doc McKinney, Noah 40 Shebib, Diplo, DJ Mustard, Max Martin and Stargate, to name a few.
